Privacy policy — Data protection (Law 09-08)

Data controller: SKILLSHORE, artifact.casa@gmail.com.

Purposes of processing

Managing registrations, bookings and attendance, billing, and communicating with families (practical information and session reminders).

Data collected

Parent and child identity, contact details (phone and email), registration and payment information and, when provided by the family, health information strictly necessary for the child's safety (allergies, treatment and emergency contact). This health information is treated as sensitive data.

Consent

Data is processed with the consent of the people concerned and to provide the service. Consent to the terms and to image use is recorded explicitly with a timestamp and may be withdrawn at any time.

Recipients

Data is accessible only to authorised Centre staff. It is never sold or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Website audience measurement

When Google Analytics is enabled by the Centre, it loads only after you agree. It measures viewed pages, visit source, device type, useful interactions (such as a click to WhatsApp or opening a question), and approximate country, region or city. Form contents, names and phone numbers are never sent through this tracking. ARTifact disables advertising signals and ad personalisation.

You may decline on your first visit or change your choice using the “Audience settings” button at the bottom of the public website. Declining does not restrict any website feature.

Retention period

36 months after the household's last activity, followed by anonymisation. Accounting records (invoices, receipts and cash journals) are retained in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Security

Access is restricted through accounts and permissions, access to sensitive data is logged, and health information is encrypted at rest.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, objection to, or deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, contact the Centre at artifact.casa@gmail.com or on 07 02 09 08 08.

What deletion does not cover, and why. If purchases were recorded in your name, your account is deleted but your full name, your child's first name and your phone number remain on those sales records. This information is not kept for commercial purposes: it forms part of the accounting records. During an audit, the Centre must be able to show who a sale was made to. Nothing else is retained: neither your contact details, health information nor attendance history.

Processing governed by Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (CNDP).
